Dear tourists, I am Bogdan, born and raised in Suceava, North-East Romania. My hometown, Suceava, was the capital of medieval principate of Moldova, during its most glorious times, a land with fortresses, monasteries and a princely court.
The name Bogdan was also borne, for example, by the father of the most famous Moldavian/Romanian ruler, Stephen the Great (1457-1504). Coming from Slavonic (bog dan), this word means the gift of God.
I offer private day trips and multi-day tours, mainly in the Carpathian Mountains, with a focus on Royal Heritage developed under the leadership of King Carol I.
I focus on guiding solo travelers, couples, families and small groups of friends.
All my tours can be tailored according to your specific needs and wishes.
I also offer bespoke, safely transfers, for any destination in Romania, with the assistance of a professional guide-driver.
I provide tips for the best chance to taste authentic Romanian food and drinks.
Because I am passionate about local history, between 2017 and 2023, I have conducted research activities about the Properties of the Royal House of Romania in Eastern Carpathian region, as a PhD student in history.

After spending more than a decade working in the project management sector – cross border cooperation projects, I decided it was time to start doing what I truly enjoy. Being passionate about outdoor activities and an active trail runner and mountain biker, in 2023 I became an independent Tour Guide & Travel Agent.
